Delete your account

Applies to Pitara Stories and Pitara Audio.

You can delete your data at any time, either from inside the app or by sending us a request.

Cancel your subscription first. Subscriptions are billed by Apple or Google, not by us. Deleting your account does not cancel an active subscription, cancel it in your device's app store before deleting, or you will continue to be charged.

One login, two apps. Your Pitara account is shared, so you can choose how much to remove: just one app's data, or the whole account. Deleting the whole account removes your Pitara Stories data too.

Option 1, delete in the app (fastest)

Pitara Audio: open the Account tab → Delete account → type DELETE, then choose either Delete my Pitara Audio data (keeps your login and Pitara Stories) or Delete my entire Pitara account.

Pitara Stories: open the Account tab → Delete Account → confirm.

Deletion happens immediately and cannot be undone.

Option 2, request deletion by email

If you can't access the app, email support@vigorpeak.in with the subject "Account deletion request", sent from the email address on your account so we can verify it's you. Tell us which app(s) you use.

We confirm within 2 business days and complete deletion within 30 days.

What gets deleted

Your account and login credentials
Your profile and any child profile (name, age, avatar)
Favourites, playlists, and listening/reading history
Language and app preferences
Subscription records held by us (the purchase record kept by Apple or Google is governed by their policies)

What we keep, and for how long

Anonymous, aggregated usage and crash data, retained indefinitely. It is not linked to you and cannot be traced back to your account.
Records we are required by law to keep (for example transaction records for tax and accounting purposes), retained for the period the law requires, then deleted.
